Chicks in the Nest Puddings
Fun and easy to prepare, children love these puddings made especially for them. These individual puddings are full of flavor and interesting textures. Low fat milk and low fat whipped topping can be used in this recipe for a healthier treat.
1 4-serving size package coconut pudding mix 2 cups milk 3/4 cup whipped cream 1/4 cup flaked sweetened coconut 1/4 cup coconut or vanilla cookie crumbs 4 marshmallow chicks
Prepare the coconut pudding with the milk according to the package directions and pour into 4 small pudding dishes or ramekins. Let cool completely and refrigerate for up to 24 hours if desired. Top each pudding with 3 tablespoons of whipped cream. Sprinkle the coconut and cookie crumbs evenly over the puddings. Nestle a chick into the center of each pudding. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 6 hours before serving.
