Crafty Recipe - Halloween Sticksby Wen Zientek-Sico *Munch* *Munch* For some reason, this season these sticks have really hit the spot! Wonderful for nibbling, trick or treat snacks, table decorations, lunch treats, or for no reason at all, these candy coated pretzel sticks are easy to make and yummy. |
Halloween Sticks
5 ounces white chocolate
12 pretzel rods
1 cup Halloween or orange and black sprinkles
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and set aside. Melt the chocolate until smooth according to the package directions. (If there are no directions, microwave for 30 seconds on half power and stir. Microwave in 15 second intervals on half power, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is smooth and melted. The chocolate will melt more as you stir it so don't skip the stirring step!) Place the sprinkles in one corner of the waxed paper. Dip each rod into the chocolate, let any extra drip off and then roll in the sprinkles. Place on the waxed paper and let dry for at least two hours. If making more than a few days in advance, store in an airtight container.
Makes 12 pretzel sticks.
